Surgical procedures are done under anesthesia. How you feel afterwards depends on your case and whether you need a bone graft; the specialist explains at your assessment what to expect and how to take care of yourself.
How long does the whole treatment take?
It depends on your case: how many implants you need, whether you require a bone graft and how your bone heals. After examining you, the specialist gives you a time estimate.
Can I get an implant if I lack bone?
In some cases the missing bone can be rebuilt with a bone graft. The specialist decides this with your X-rays or CT scan at the assessment.
